Professional Experience: 

Mr. Xiangyang Huang served as an associate engineer in Beijing Small Motor Machines Company after graduating from Beijing University of Technology in January 1983. With 2 years of technical experience, Mr. Huang joined China Patent Agent (H.K.) LTD in February 1985 and was qualified as a patent attorney in April 1985, starting to handle a large amount of patent applications filed in China for prestigious Chinese and Foreign companies.

Starting from April 1989, Mr. Huang was trained in a German patent attorney program at WILHELMS, KILIAN & PARTNER in Germany, German Patent and Trademark Office, and German Federal Patent Court. In November 1992, he passed the Qualification Examination for German Patent Attorney organized by the German Patent and Trademark Office, and became the first Chinese to be qualified as a German Patent Attorney.

Mr. Huang worked as the Chief Representative of Munich Office of China Patent Agent (H.K.) LTD for quite a few years since 1992. During this period in Munich, he visited a large number of prestigious German enterprises and started and maintained good relationship with them, while in the same time he continued to study EU patent law and practice..

During his over 30 years of the career as a patent attorney, Mr. Huang successfully handled numerous patent applications filed in China for worldly-recognized multinational companies, such as Siemens, Intel, Philips Electronics, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung Electronics Co., Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, involving fields of automatic control, electronic and electrical engineering, optical technology, integrated circuits, medical instruments. In addition, he also handled a large number of cases of patent search and patent reexamination and invalidation.

Mr. Huang joined Intewig & Partners in 2014 as a senior consultant.
